  • This old German Bank, on the corner of Spring and Bowery in NYC was owned by photographer Jay Maisel who rented floors to artiest Kline, Gottlieb, and Lichtenstein (see doorbell buttons).  I went to there in 1968 working under a grant from the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
